FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device to detect internal corrosion of wire ropes includes magnetization unit comprising two permanent magnets, poles, separable pole pieces embracing tested wire rope, magnetosensitive elements. Device is supplemented with normalizing units, recording and indication unit, length sensor. Magnetosensitive elements are located in interpole zone close to poles, their outputs are connected to inputs of normalizing units which outputs are coupled to inputs of recording and indication unit. Output of length sensor is connected to input of recording and indication unit. EFFECT: increased informativity of test of wire ropes. 1 dwg
