FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: switch has body with cover, free release mechanism with rack, contact system with arc chutes, thermal and electromagnetic maximum current release devices in each pole. Supporting framework made of arc-resistant material is built into arc chute of each pole. Contact post of contact system is located inside supporting framework of each pole, steel plate is cold-hardened in front of contact part of each contact post. EFFECT: enhanced current carrying capacity without increase of overall dimensions. 1 dwg
