METHOD FOR CARRYING OUT PULMONARY HYDATIDECTOMY Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves putting in a suture between two atraumatic needles coming with one thread end from cavity fundus vertically towards periphery alternatingly leaving one wall for another one at 1.5-2 cm in height. The other thread end is used in the like way for putting in a suture starting at the other wall on the fundus so that the needle is driven in at the same place where the other thread end exited and exits at the same place where the other thread end was driven in. The last exits of both threads end at the lung surface 1 cm aside from fibrous cavity boundary. From 2 to 4-5 thread crosses are done depending on wall height. 3-5 sutures are made depending on cavity size. The sutures are tightened and tied next to it. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of surgical treatment. 4 dwg
