FIELD: medicine, pulmonary surgery.
SUBSTANCE: one should isolate the cyst to puncture and aspirate its content. Then fibrous cavity should be lanced. Suturing of echinococcal cyst bottom should be performed with one ligature, from bottom upwards, by suturing opposite walls and fixing them with interrupted sutures. Then one should apply the next row of sutures by leaving 1.2 cm against previous one. When cystic cavity is sutured up to the half of its volume it is necessary to apply one horizontal, cross-sectional, zigzag suture with separate ligature. Then suturing is carried out with previous ligatures in the same sequence up to the upper edge of fibrous capsule. Pleurization of fibrous cavitary edges should be conducted with the same ligatures applied when cystic bottom was sutured. Moreover, puncture out is made at capsular edge from inside outwards. Then by leaving aside against the edge of puncture out. Then one should perform puncture in inside the capsule. One should capture fibrous capsule and perform puncture out outside once more. Sutures are applied from both sides. Then ligatures should be tightened together.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of surgical treatment.
