METHOD FOR OBTAINING COMBINED BIOMATERIAL OF ANTIFUSION EFFECT Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: medicine, surgery. SUBSTANCE: allogenic connective tissue formations (serous membranes, fascia, tendons) should undergo mechanic purification to remove residues of adjacent tissues and foreign contaminations, washed in running water for 5-10 min and applied into 3%-hydrogen peroxide solution for 5-10 min to remove blood to be thrice rinsed in 0.9%-sodium chloride solution. Treated tissues should be homogenized to achieve homogeneous viscous mass. Then the mixture is obtained consisted of 0.3 g fibrinogen and 3 ml aminocaproic acid solution. It should be thoroughly mixed with homogenized viscous mass till a paste-like consistence. This biological mass is distributed with thin layer upon flat surface. Then it is frozen in cryogenic chamber up to 45 C and dried with vacuum up to constant weight due to freeze drying. The present method enables to simplify and broaden possibilities for applying biomaterial and increase its antifusion effect. EFFECT: higher efficiency.
