SUBSTANCE: proposed muffler has cylindrical hollow housing, three cross partitions forming four chambers in housing, central intake pipe coupling engine exhaust manifold with second chamber, coaxial pipe installed on cross partitions and connecting first chamber with fourth chamber and provided with side holes in zone of second chamber, and central outlet pipe projecting from third chamber and provided with side holes in zone of fourth chamber. Each of three partitions is provided with one or several perforation holes, central intake pipe is provided with side hole in zone of first chamber of cylindrical hollow housing, and central outlet pipe is provided with side hole in zone of third chamber. Intake pipe in zone of second chamber and coaxial pipe in zone of fourth chamber are provided with additional side holes. EFFECT: reduced noise level. 1 dwg
