FIELD: anti-friction materials manufactured by means of powder metallurgy for machines, equipment and current collectors. SUBSTANCE: proposed material contains the following components, mass-%: ferro-phosphorus, 0.5-5.4; iron, 10.91-26.25;graphite, 0.16-5.16; granules, 2.0-24.0; the remainder being copper. Material is made in form of sintered powders at localized inclusion of granules, 0.4-1.6 mm in size; material contains copper in the amount of 37.0-60.0 and the remainder being graphite. Material is produced by granulating mixture of copper and graphite followed by mixing granules with powders of ferrophosphorus, copper, graphite and iron. Burden thus obtained is molded and sintered. Member of friction unit with layer of anti-friction material sintered on it is described. EFFECT: enhanced mechanical strength and wear resistance; low friction coefficient; possibility of forming separating films on surface of material for avoidance of wear of engageable pair. 9 cl
