FIELD: antifriction materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to manufacture of antifriction materials by powder metallurgy techniques. Method comprises preparing charge by mixing graphite with reinforcing and alloying powder components (20.0-90.0%) in presence of moistening agent (0.01-8.0%), said reinforcing and alloying powder components being at least one material selected from group consisting of copper, iron, brass, molybdenum disulfide, molybdenum, cobalt, aluminum, lead, tin, tungsten, and silver and said moistening agent being at least one substance selected from liquid hydrocarbons having boiling point above 40°C.
EFFECT: enabled preparation high-strength granules with high percentage of graphite and strong metallic framework providing reliable fixation of granules in antifriction material.
