FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices transferring thick liquids with abrasives, in particular to piston pumps. The pump comprises a housing with discharge manifold and suction cavity, a drive. In the housing at least one opening is made to install as minimum one cylinder secured in the hole with possibility of its fixation by detachable connection. Inside the cylinder a piston is located, the piston is connected with rod having a collar and passing through central hole in bottom of the cylinder. The cylinder collar has sealing element with possibility of rod cavity sealing. A suction valve is made as insert enclosing the piston with manhole, and installed in the cylinder forming a ring channel with guide inserts in bottom and middle parts of the cylinder. In the guide insert and bottom part of the cylinder the radial holes connected with each other are made with possibility of rod cavity associating with the suction cavity. Volume of the rod cavity between the collar and the suction valve within part of piston stroke is 1.05-1.10 of volume of insert body of the suction valve within its stroke, and distance from the cylinder bottom to radial hole of the guide insert is 0.85-0.90 of stroke of the suction valve.
