FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: invention deals with measurement of slippage of tire thread relative to bearing surface in process of bed tests of pneumatic tires. Measuring element coming in the form of electromagnet made fast to axle and mounted for axial movement in bearings is located in recess of bearing plate, beneath level of bearing surface. Axle contacts slippage transmitter and is installed on bogie that can travel perpendicular to mentioned axle and contacts another slippage transmitter. Metal element interacting with electromagnet is fixed in outer part of tire tread. EFFECT: simultaneous determination of pronounced values of longitudinal and lateral slippage of tire tread with respect to real bearing surface. 2 dwg
