FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: this method prescribes sampling patient's blood, determining instant of initiation, termination and duration of process of coagulation of blood and plasma by assaying equal volumes of citrated blood and citrated plasma derived from this blood sample, calculating ratio between similar blood and plasma parameters, and diagnosing latent form of syndrome of disseminated intravascular blood coagulation with respect to any parameters if above ratio is either equal or less than one. EFFECT: disclosed method may be employed for express diagnosing of latent forms of disseminated intravascular blood coagulation syndrome and effectively monitoring progress of cure with object of arresting this syndrome. 2 tbl
