FIELD: electrical engineering; sulfur hexafluoride insulated disconnecting switches of high-voltage switchgear and control gear. SUBSTANCE: proposed gas-filled disconnecting switch has moving contact and fixed contact with two screens electrically interconnected through resistor and disposed in metal case filled with sulfur hexafluoride gas; one lead of resistor is connected to upper screen and its other lead, to lower screen connected to fixed contact; resistor is made of separate piles secured between two screens and disposed on concentric circumference sector around fixed contact. Each resistor pile is assembled of separate disks made of resistive material of definite resistance value. Upper screen is mounted through insulating bars on fixed-contact lower screen. EFFECT: simplified design and facilitated removal and adjustment of resistor. 1 cl, 2 dwg
