FIELD: methods of treatment of gases emissions to oxidize their sulfides, devices for purification of gas emissions gas release. SUBSTANCE: invention presents a method of oxidation of sulfides in gases emissions(variants). The treatment of the gasses is offered to conduct using an absorption- catalytic method at the presence of the heterogeneous catalyst, which contains in the capacity of an active element - oxides and-or hydroxides of metals of variable valence, and additionally a modifying additive, in the capacity of which they use organic compounds and-or heteropoly acids bases on the polymeric carrying agent - polyethylene or polypropylene and at the following shares of ingredients of the catalyst (in mass %): the active component - 15-50, the modifying additive- 0,5-20, the carrying agent - the rest. Or it may contain in the capacity of an active element one or several compounds of metals of variable valence, and additionally - a fluxing agent - a silicon-containing compound, and also modifying additive - a carboniferous material based on the carrying agent - clay, at the following shares of ingredients of the catalyst (in mass %): the active component - 15-50, the modifying additive- 0,5-20, the fluxing agent - 50-10, the carrying agent - the rest.
