APPARATUS FOR BENDING STRIP AND METHOD FOR ERECTING CONSTRUCTION WITH USE OF SUCH APPARATUS Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: plastic metal working, possibly bending strip with profiled edges for making roofings at individual or industrial building, for erecting hangar or similar arch-shaped (cylindrical) constructions. SUBSTANCE: apparatus for bending strip includes device for profiling edges. At side of strip outlet from apparatus bending equipment is mounted; said equipment has framework with left and right brackets made in the form of supported levers jointly and successively connected with housing and one with another. Identical profiling rollers are mounted in pairs on said levers (each roller on separate shaft) engaging with profiled edges of strip. Pairs of rollers are mounted on levers with possibility of independent regulation of their position in vertical plane by means of left and right supports for providing predetermined radius surface. Such apparatus is used for erecting arch-shaped (cylindrical) constructions. Method comprises steps of placing apparatus for bending onto movable platform; making constructional members and simultaneously placing them on preliminarily arranged carcass; cutting them according to desired dimension of outer surface of construction; moving platform along erected construction according to width of placed member; then repeating cycle. EFFECT: possibility for making compact rational simple at exploitation apparatus for bending strip, simplified lowered-cost method for erecting construction due to missing several operations realized with use of additional equipment. 3 cl, 6 dwg
