FIELD: gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to gas industry, particularly to vortex energy converters of pressure difference on gas-distributing and gas-compressor stations of main pipelines. In method of vortex reduction gas part of hot flow from separation chamber is ejected by main input flow and mixed heated flow is directed to tangential gas inlet nozzle into separation chamber. Significant gas saving during its transportation and distribution in main pipelines and gas distribution and gas transfer stations.
EFFECT: invention allows decreasing gas pressure without reducing its temperature.
