FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: method of vortex reduction of gas pressure involves separation of a part of hot flow behind conical surface of blast pipe, while the remaining part of hot flow and cold axial flow is mixed through a hole in the central part of the blast pipe, and a part of hot flow can be supplied to axial zone through the central hole both directly and via additional tangential nozzle inlet for that flow; the central hole is conical, and gas is injected to separation chamber at an angle to the inlet axis.
EFFECT: gas pressure reduction without temperature reduction, significant gas saving during transportation and distribution in main pipelines and gas transmission and distribution stations.
