DRYING MACHINE FOR FINE-DISPERSED MATERIALS Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

Abstract RU 2225577 C2

FIELD: drying facilities; drying machines of a boiling bed. SUBSTANCE: the invention presents a drying machine for fine-dispersed materials, that may be used in different branches of industry. According to the invention, the drying machine for fine- dispersed materials consists of a vertical cylindrical chamber with a loading device placed in its upper part and with an unloading device in its lower part, a gas-feeding duct with a branch-pipe, a gas distributing lattice. Along the axis of the cylindrical chamber there is a shaft with vanes on it. The shaft is passing through the full length of the drying machine design, the vanes are fixed on it by a spiral line with a capacity to turn in a vertical plane. There are two types of the vanes and they are alternating among themselves so, that the vanes of the first type are perforated and the vanes of the second type are made in the form of the radial arms with dissectors fixed on them. At that on each next vane of the second type the dissectors are located on the arms so that the distance between an outer side of the second type dissector of the following vane and the shaft axis is equal to distance between the axis of the shaft and an inner surface of the dissector of the previous vane of the second type. The dissectors may be executed longwise equal to 1.1-1.3 of a spiral line pitch. The cylindrical chamber may be made of two vertical sections rigidly fixed one on another and double-walled. At that the inside wall is made out of a material penetrable for gases, and the outside wall - out of a non-corrosive material, the strength properties of which do not yield to metal. The inner cavity between walls is hermetically sealed on the butts and linked through at least one branch- pipe of the working medium supply and a pipeline with the working medium source. The unloading device may be made in the form of the radial vanes fixed on the shaft with a capacity of an axial movement and located opposite to an unloading window in the lower part of the cylindrical chamber over the gas distributing lattice. A heating element may be placed inside the gas-feeding duct. The invention should ensure an increase of productivity, a decrease of power consumption and to improve quality of the fine-dispersed materials drying. EFFECT: increased productivity, decreased power consumption improved quality of the fine-dispersed materials drying. 5 cl, 3 dwg
