FIELD: chemical metal treatment. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemically treating surface of iron-based metal before applying lacquer coatings. In particular, metallic surface is treated with aqueous solution containing following ions, g/l: zinc 1.5-3.6, manganese 0.45-0.7, phosphate 7.8-16.8, nitrate 1.1-1.8, and also 3.1-3.6 g/l hydroxylamine sulfate. Before treatment of metallic surface, free acidity of solution is adjusted to 0.7-2.3 "points". EFFECT: achieved high corrosion resistance and good adhesion at lowered cost price of composition. 3 ex
