FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: procedure consists in contacting metal surface at temperature not above 45°C and at value of pH less 3.5 with water acid phosphating solution or dispersion with ions of alkali metals containing composition of phosphorus containing acid and/or its derivatives similar to complex ethers and salts at total contents of all kinds of acids and all their derivatives similar to complex ethers and salts in total less, than 20 g/l per mole of base of orthophosphate; also contents of phosphorus containing compounds/ions is at least 50% of weight from all such compounds/ions; in addition, ion, chosen from group, consisting of at least one ion of alkali metal and ammonium ion and accelerant on base of guanidine at total amount of 0.01-5 g/l, free fluoride at amount of from 0.01 to 1 g/l or not containing free fluoride, also they do not contain other heavy metals different from those which will be etched off metallic surface, possibly, excluding addition of ions of Fe2+. Formed coating contains phosphorus not more, than 8 atomic %, while its weight is from 0.01 to 0.5 g/m2.
EFFECT: procedure of phosphating is stable and suits well for industrial implementation for phosphating rolls, items and wires; said procedure is easier and cheaper in comparison with known procedures; further, phosphate coating has supreme exterior view and high corrosion resistance.
