FIELD: public utilities. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to keeping of road pavements in good condition in winter, particularly, for utilization of snow-ice mass gathered from squares, streets and other city territories and delivered into snow-melting chambers in crushed state. In proposed plant for utilization of snow-ice mass gathered from squares, streets and other city territories and including stationary snow-melting chamber with inlet and outlet of warm drain water of disposal system and intake hopper with driven crushing drums mounted on frame in form of cassette installed in hopper over sno0w-melting chamber, each crushing drum is made in form of tube with fitted-on flat disks with crushing teeth between teeth. Frame of cassette consists of two sides interconnected by crossmembers on which crushing drums are installed on bearings in form of two groups, each consisting of five drums. Each group is driven by separate hydraulic motor installed in vertical plate of one of sides. Drums are interconnected in pairs by chain trains from both sides or from one side. Both groups consisting of five drums are connected by detachable synchronizing chain train to provide definite relative position of crushing teeth. EFFECT: increased capacity and improved reliability of plant. 8 dwg
