FIELD: municipal services.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of recycling snow mass, namely to method of snow melting, and can be used in municipal services for disposal of snow-ice mass produced during cleaning of urban areas (roads, quarter areas, territories of industrial facilities, etc.). Snow mass is fed into chamber for melting and mixing of snow mass with heated water. Irrigation of snow mass with heated water is performed through nozzle and discharge of melt water. Mixing water-and-snow mass is performed by means of forced cascade movement of water-and-snow mass in rotating perforated device. Rotation speed at mixing is set in range of 50-60 % of critical rpm of perforated device.

EFFECT: method increases efficiency and productivity of forced snow melting process.
