SNOW MELTER PLANT DISCHARGE HATCH GATE Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: public services. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to snow melting plants equipped with intake hoppers, namely, to gates of discharge hatches in walls of hopper to let out foreign objects getting into hopper with snow and ice masses. Proposed gate of discharge hatch consists of shield made of two sheets of elastic material interconnected in upper part by spacer coupled with upper crossmember of hatch frame, and in lower part tightly connected to each other. It includes also pressure frame with embedded horizontal rods for engagement with shield, pressure frame being secured on lower and upper crossmembers of hatch. It has also protective screen hinge-mounted on upper side of pressure frame for fixing its angular position. Said hatch is the hatch of intake hopper of snow melter plant being mounted over cassette with crushing drums installed over snow melting chamber with pipelines to let in and let out warm sever waters. EFFECT: reduced labor input, decreased fatigue of attending personnel. 7 dwg
