FIELD: nondestructive inspection of tubes. SUBSTANCE: intratube flaw detector passed through tested pipe-line has body carrying sealing rings and transmitters as well as measurement aids and measurement data processing unit. Transmitters are installed in holders, each older is anchored on body of flaw detector with the help of pair of levers capable of turning in plane passing through symmetry axis of flaw detector. In each holder all transmitters are located on side of tail part of flaw detector with reference to both rotation axes of pair of levers in this transmitter holder, distance between mentioned rotation axes in transmitter holder is under 0.2 length of lever. Signals from transmitters of magnetic field are numbered and recorded in storage circuit of board computer with referencing to signals from other transmitters. On completion of diagnostic passage through specified section of pipe-line magnetic flaw detector is removed from pipe-line and data collected in process of diagnostics are transferred to computer outside of flaw detector. Subsequent analysis of recorded data allows conclusion on presence of flaws to be made and their dimensions to be determined. EFFECT: enhanced passability of flaw detector through elongated crooked sections of constrictions in pipe-line and reduced relative body of data which cannot be utilized for identification of flaws in walls of pipe-line. 5 cl, 4 dwg
