FIELD: non-destructive inspection of materials.
SUBSTANCE: mechanism has arm piece fixed at end of case of flaw detector in cavity passing through longitudinal axis of case, first two-shouldered lever, which has end of first shoulder attached to detector second lever, which has first end connected to end of second shoulder of mentioned first lever by hinges and the second end is connected with case by hinges. Mechanism also has the third level, which has one end attached to hinge support of first lever, and second end of lever is provided with guiding mechanism made for make movement of detector easier in vertical plane when diameter of tested tube changes. Spring mechanism is mounted between third lever and arm piece. Spring mechanism works for compression to provide compression of detector against internal wall of tested tube. Constant contact of detector with wall of tube is provided at rounded places. Detector is disposed at longitudinal direction in relation to case of flaw detector almost constantly; significant changes in diameter of tube do not prevent it from proper operation.
EFFECT: higher reliability of operation; constant contact provided.
