FIELD: radio engineering, processing of signals of amplitude direction finding. SUBSTANCE: method to process signals of double-channel amplitude direction finding lies in formation of radiation pattern movable in search sector, in reception of signal, its selection by frequency, in detection of signal, in movement of radiation pattern in search sector. Direction finding sector and required amplifying factor are formed by maximal level of signal. Radiation pattern is moved to both side of direction finding sector with certain amplifying factor. Recorded signal is employed to compute abscissas of center of gravity, averaged value of abscissas is used to compute bearing and form pair of radiation patterns displaced through width of radiation pattern by level of 3.0 dB, correlation integral is computed by method of match of polarities prior to detection of signal. Pair of radiation patterns is moved in search sector and pair of radiation patterns is moved to both sides of direction finding sector with certain value of amplifying factor. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of determination of direction on radio radiation source with law of distribution of signal mixture and noise different from Gaussian. 1 dwg
