FIELD: nuclear power engineering; liquid-metal cooled reactor units. SUBSTANCE: proposed nuclear power plant is equipped with reducing-gas mixture inlet device. The latter is made in the form of perforated circular header disposed under empty state in coolant channel at inlet of main circulating pump. Suction line of device communicates with gas cavity of reactor, reducing gas mixture cylinder, and with pressure line of gas compressor. Circular header is provided with round holes. All these components provide for effective removal of coolant oxidized impurities deposited on surfaces of reactor unit, reactor core, and steam generator piping system, cleaning of lead mass from lead oxides, cleaning of structural materials and coolant from structural material corrosion products.
