FIELD: physics, nuclear physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns nuclear technology and can be applied in reactor plants with liquid metal cooling. Nuclear power station includes reactor with heavy liquid metal heat carrier. Core, steam generators, main circulation pumps, shielding gas system and gas mix feeding device in the form of gas pressure chamber rotated by electric or turbo drive are placed under empty core level. The pressure chamber is mounted in circulation path of liquid metal heat carrier and connected by gas channels to shielding gas system and bulk of circulating liquid metal heat carrier. Gas channels are made in shafts of main circulation pumps. Pressure chamber is formed by holes in pump shaft wall at the side of incident heat carrier flow. Holes are profiled by arched blades. Arched blades are positioned in intake cavity in front of work pump wheel blades.
EFFECT: simplified construction and enhanced safety of nuclear power plant.
