FIELD: nuclear power engineering; liquid metal cooled reactor units. SUBSTANCE: proposed nuclear power plant is provided with reducing-gas mixture inlet device disposed under vacant state in coolant channel at depth amounting to one fifth one twentieth of full column of coolant in vicinity of down-comer section at inlet of core and steam generators. Installed at end of gas mixture inlet device is fixed conductor pipe accommodating removable pipe with perforated extension on bottom section communicating with gas-compressor head line whose suction line is connected to reactor gas space and with gas cylinders holding reducing mixture. Power plant incorporates provision for cleaning surfaces of reactor unit, its core, and steam generators from deposits of coolant oxides and can dispense with cold catchers, as well as with hydrodynamic and mechanical filters.
