FIELD: antennas for satellite or cellular telephone communication systems. SUBSTANCE: antenna has reflecting part of conducting material, resonator mounted on reflecting part, first and second separated exciting rods electrically connected to resonator for conveying first and second signals to or from the latter, respectively; first and second signals are equal in amplitude but spaced 90 deg. apart in phase. This dual-band antenna may be assembled of two antennas with resonators. Each resonator of dual-band antenna is resonating at definite frequency thereby ensuring operation in two bands; resonators may be mounted next to one another or in relatively vertical positions on first and second reflecting parts, respectively. As an alternative it may be all-band antenna with its first part resonance-tuned to first predetermined frequency band and incorporates reflecting part, dielectric resonator, first and second rods. Second part of antenna is resonance-tuned to second predetermined frequency band and incorporates extended antenna element; third part is resonance-tuned to third predetermined frequency band.
