METHOD FOR DIFFERENTIAL DIAGNOSTICS OF EPIGASTRAL PAIN SYNDROME Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with differential diagnostics between diskinetic variant of nonulcerous dyspepsia, group of diseases with gastric hypersecretory syndrome, chronic pancreatitis, gangliopathy of celiac plexus. Patient, after putting preliminary diagnosis, is prescribed to have the intake of therapeutic doses of preparations of different anti-pain mechanism of action and short half-life, prokinetic metoproclamide, blockator H2-histamine receptors cymetidin, enzyme as mezym-forte, m-cholinolytic as becarbon. According to patient's subjective feelings one should evaluate anti-pain effect of every preparation and register it. By the results of medicinal sample one may conclude upon the main mechanism of epigastral pain syndrome to put intermediate diagnosis, then comes total inspection of the patient to put the final diagnosis. The present innovation enables to put objective intermediate diagnosis and, based upon this diagnosis, prescribe planned therapy till putting the final diagnosis.
