FIELD: dust and garbage collecting equipment. SUBSTANCE: cyclone-type dust collector is mounted in dust collecting chamber for separating of garbage from air drawn through suction brush by centrifugal force. Dust collecting chamber is communicated with engine drive incorporating chamber in vacuum cleaner case. Dust collector has garbage receiver with garbage chamber and air discharge chamber, and cyclone unit connected to upper part of garbage collector so as to cover garbage chamber and air discharge chamber. Cyclone unit has opening commensurable with air inlet opening, through which air containing foreign matter is introduced, centrifugal chamber for separating of foreign matter from air by centrifugal force, garbage discharge opening, through which separated foreign matter is discharged, air outlet opening through which purified air produced after separation of foreign matter is discharged, and air discharge chamber. Tubular member connected with upper part of cyclone unit has air admission channel connected to air inlet opening, and air exit channel connected to air exit opening.
