FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: dust collector has cyclone casing adapted for connection to extensible tube of vacuum cleaner and creating swirling flow of air and garbage, and cyclone housing detachably joined to cyclone casing and provided with inclined partition wall having through opening. Partition wall divides housing interior into upper cavity for separating garbage from air by directing swirling air flow and lower cavity for receiving garbage separated from air. Regardless of arrangement, dust collector prevents grid from contamination with garbage, does not hinder operation of vacuum cleaner and prevents garbage from falling from grid of cyclone casing or prevents grid itself from damage during removal of garbage. EFFECT: simplified construction and increased efficiency in filtering and collection of relatively large garbage particles. 14 cl, 5 dwg
