SUBSTANCE: invention proposes using gastroenteric peptide hormones taken among the class consisting of glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) and its derivatives eliciting an anti-secretory effect and relaxing smooth muscles of gastroenteric tract, as an active component for preparing pharmaceutical composition used for treatment of functional dyspepsia and/or irritable bowel syndrome. Invention proposes also method for treatment of indicated diseases using these peptides. Invention provides the significant treatment effect due to simultaneous inhibition of secretory activity of gastroenteric tract and suppression of its motor activity being even in symptoms typical for motor activity declining.
