FIELD: metallurgical industry branches, namely manufacture of thin belts and foil of aluminum alloys for producing package containers in food making industry. SUBSTANCE: method for cold multipass rolling of thin bands of aluminum alloys comprises carrying out each of two last rolling passes at reduction degree normalized according to mathematical expression and at rolling rate no less than 500 m/min with total reduction degree no less than 85% at temperature after rolling termination equal to 140-160 C and mass of coiled band no less than 5 t. EFFECT: lowered scattering of mechanical properties, improved strength, ductility and formability parameters of articles.
