SUBSTANCE: invention relates to nonferrous metallurgy and can be used in the production of thin strips from alloys of Al-Mg systems. The method of producing a varnished strip with a thickness of 0.2 to 0.35 mm from an aluminum alloy EN AW-5182 includes multi-pass hot rolling of an ingot of alloy EN AW-5182 to obtain a fully recrystallized hot-rolled strip billet having a cubic texture, and multi-pass cold rolling of a hot-rolled strip billet. The last hot rolling pass is carried out in the temperature range 330-360°C at a deformation rate of more than 50 s-1 and with a deformation rate of more than 34%, while the thickness of the obtained hot-rolled strip billet is 13-16 times higher than the final strip thickness, cold rolling of the hot-rolled billet strips are carried out in 7 passes, and in the first pass cold rolling is carried out with a deformation degree of 30-35%, then in five passes cold rolling is carried out with a total deformation degree of 84-87%, and in the last pass with a deformation degree of 22-26% and until a total degree of deformation of more than 90% is reached, then stabilization annealing of the tape is carried out at a temperature of 90-100°C, varnish is applied to the tape and drying at 220-250°C, and then the tape is wound into a roll with a mass of at least 10 tons.
EFFECT: increased mechanical properties of belts and reduced festooning to less than 6%.
