FIELD: ferrous metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: method, which can find use in manufacture of stainless marks of steel in arc surface or employing duplex process, comprises: tapping preliminarily deoxidized metal from argon-oxygen refining assembly into steel- teeming ladle, removing 95 to 100% of refining slag saturated by active silicon oxides, placing the ladle onto workbench of ladle-surface assembly, depositing, onto the metal surface, fluor-spar in amount 2.5-3.5 kg/t and 1.0- 1.5 kg/t of lime, deoxidizing slag metal with 1.0-1.5 kg/t of silico-calcium and 0.8-1.0 kg/t of granulated aluminum, purging metal with argon from below, and adding portionwise each time 2.0 kg/t of titanium-containing ferroalloys. In order to apply fresh slag, 8-10 kg/t of lime is added. EFFECT: enhanced stability and degree of assimilation of titanium and reduced consumption of expensive ferroalloys. 1 tbl, 13 ex
