FIELD: television engineering; stereo image generation on computer monitor. SUBSTANCE: vertically compressed left- and right-hand parts of stereo pair are disposed in one frame one after other. In order to separate stereo pair parts optoelectronic spectacles alternately cover optical channels for left- and right-hand eyes in step with changing upper and lower parts of frame which are divided in time so that lower part follows upper one at double frame frequency when displaying frame on computer monitor; in order to double frame frequency additional frame sync pulses are generated in the middle between input sync pulses. EFFECT: enhanced synchronizing stability and uncriticality to monitor parameters. 4 cl, 5 dwg
