FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: method involves preparing tooth stump, manufacturing and setting crown with cement. The crown has cup-shaped wire gauze as prefabricated reinforcing carcass and strengthening material around the tooth stump. Internal surface of the wire gauze cup is congruent to external surface of the tooth stump. Tooth preparation process starts on chewing surface and then contact, vestibular and oral surfaces are filed off in turn to gingiva level creating in this way shelf at this level. Tissues are filed off by 0.9-1.2 mm in thickness. Tooth stump is prepared to be of conic shape. The reinforcing carcass manufactured from wire gauze of 0.4 mm thickness is set on the stump for testing purposes. Then the wire gauze carcass is taken off from the stump. The stump is covered with the first adhesive layer, blown with air to achieve uniform adhesive material distribution and polymerized in usual way. The second adhesive layer is applied and treated in the like way. The stump is insulated with foil and the wire gauze carcass is fitted thereon and covered with composite material according to material usage guide. The composite wire gauze crown being produced, it is taken of from the tooth stump. The foil is removed. The crown is finished by filing and polishing. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness in restoring anatomical shape and function of tooth within one visit to dentist. 4 cl
