FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: proposed lubrication system contains oil sump accommodating oil intake connected to oil pump driven through fluid coupling by gears of timing mechanism. Fluid coupling is operated by pressure regulator in main oil line. Moreover, lubrication system contains check valve, hydraulic accumulator, oil filter and valve-thermostat directing oil either into main oil line or, through hydraulic hose, into heat exchanger, being essentially coil-type heat exchanging device with changeable surface area controlled by hydraulic cylinder connected through rod with heat exchanger providing change of surface area of heat exchanger by displacing its movable part relative to fixed part by means of hydraulic cylinder depending on oil pressure in lubrication system. EFFECT: improved control of lubrication of engine parts. 1 dwg
