FIELD: mechanical engineering; automotive industry; engines. SUBSTANCE: in proposed device containing housing with branch pipes for delivery of cooling liquid from engine and outlet to bypass liquid into engine and into radiator, two valves are installed inside housing on rod coupled with control unit whose input is connected with engine temperature transmitter. Rod is installed in space of solid filler for interaction with thermoelectric module connected to output of control unit. Said control unit is programmable, containing microcontroller whose input is connected to temperature and load transmitters installed on engine and connected with programmable control unit, output is connected through switches, relays and current source regulator with ON/OFF contacts of thermoelectric module and with contacts to change direction of current. Current sensor is coupled with thermoelectric module and with current source regulator. EFFECT: possibility of maintaining optimum temperature conditions at nominal loads and rise of temperature of cooling liquid at partial loads within preset irregularity zone. 3 dwg
