FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: method includes measurement of luminous flux intensity with and without specimen. Monochromatic light beam is produced from luminous flux by means of spectral instrument, passed through measurement area, and focused on input window of photodetector. Light transmission factor is measured as function of wavelength while varying wavelength of monochromatic light, then table is constructed that incorporates data on light transmission factor as function of wavelength, and function obtained is convoluted with function of energy distribution in emission spectrum of light source versus wavelength; then unknown integral value of light transmission factor is calculated including function of energy distribution in light emission source. EFFECT: facilitated procedure; enhanced measurement accuracy. 1 cl, 1 dwg
