FIELD: space engineering, in particular, methods for survey of the terrestrial surface from space. SUBSTANCE: the method consists in survey of the terrestrial surface from space by an optoelectron camera installed on a space vehicle. A space scanning camera is installed on the space vehicle. Before conducting of a session of survey of the terrestrial surface the space vehicle of survey of the terrestrial surface and scanning of the space are conducted jointly, and according to the information obtained from session of scanning of the space, the attitude of the space vehicle in the session is coordinate system. EFFECT: expanded functional potentialities of the space vehicle, enhanced precision of picture adaptation to the terrestrial co-ordinates. 2 cl, 1 dwg
