SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of differentiating in time thermoelectromotive force created in circuit; determining differential of created thermoelectromotive force in time beginning from time moment of contact of heated electrode with surface of controlled coating at using peak voltmeter; determining thickness of coating and base according to extremum value of received differential at constant temperature drop between hot electrode and environment.
