FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agricultural and garden hand implements designed for undercutting weed plants and carrying out other treatments of soil. According to invention, projection of shank holder on blade plane is parallel to disk chord, blade being made in form of truncated disk. Edge of blade in place of intersection of arc of circumference and chord is provided with additional tooth located in plane of blade. Outer part of tooth is formed by arc of disk circumference. Inner part is formed by additional edge directed at acute angle to chord. Edges of blade over entire perimeter are sharpened. Angle of sharpening is formed between outer surface of inclined flanged edge of blade and common plane of sharpening parallel to disk plane. Design of working member of hand cultivator makes it possible to undercut weed plants by both pulling and pushing working member, to remove perennial weeds and use cultivator instead of scythe in difficult-to-get-at places and to loosen upper layer of soil. Cultivator can be used also for making hollows for planting seedlings, forming seedbeds and for heeling potato. EFFECT: improved operating qualities of hand cultivator by enlarging functional capabilities of implement and improving technology of sharpening of cutting edges at manufacture. 3 dwg
