FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves additionally administering Epithalamine within treatment course. The treatment is administered as infusions in daily dose of not exceeding 60 mg in the first 3-4 days after surgical operation. The dose is equal to 15-20 mcg/kg/h from 6 o'clock to 22 o'clock and to 50- 60 mcg/kg/h from 22 o'clock to 6 o'clock. Intoxication indices being lowered to known values, single intravenous jet Epithalamine injection is carried out at a dose of 10 mg in 10 ml of isotonic NaCl solution. Next to it, Epithalamine is administered at a daily dose not exceeding 40 mg as infusions. The dose is equal to 10-12 mcg/kg/h from 6 o'clock to 22 o'clock and to 35-45 mcg/kg/h from 22 o'clock to 6 o'clock. The total treatment course is 5-7 days long. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment.
