FIELD: alternative fuels. SUBSTANCE: fuel formulations include at least 5% of fuel hydrocarbons and at least 0.001% of branched primary aliphatic alcohols containing 11 carbon atoms, the indicated components being preferably formed in joint synthesis process. Fuel formulations containing 90 to 99.9% fuel hydrocarbons having 9 to 20 carbon atoms and 0.01 to 10% of branched primary aliphatic oxoalcohols are also described, said oxoalcohols being prepared by different processes. Further described are: fuel formulation procedures, fuel combustion methods, fuel biodegradation method, and pipeline transportation of fuel formulations. Furthermore, fuel formulation including diols is described. EFFECT: improved low-temperature characteristics and improved oiliness needed for jet, diesel, and turbine engines. 39 cl, 7 dwg, 4 tbl
