FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to use of an olefin copolymer with a carboxylic acid, wherein the copolymer contains at least one free carboxylic acid side group, or use of a nitrogen compound quaternised with an epoxide in the presence of an olefin copolymer with a carboxylic acid, the copolymer comprising at least one free carboxylic acid side group, as additive to diesel fuel for reduction and/or prevention of internal deposits in diesel nozzles (IDID) of diesel engines with direct fuel injection.
EFFECT: technical result is reduction or prevention of formation of deposits in direct injection of diesel engines to reduce fuel consumption of diesel engines with direct injection, as well as minimizing power losses in diesel engines with direct injection of fuel.
