FIELD: ferrous metallurgy; methods of treatment of steels in ladle. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes blowing metal in ladle after tapping with inert gas in mixture with materials containing aluminum and calcium, magnesium and barium at content of aluminum not exceeding 65 mass-%. Components and/or their alloys are fed to mixture in form of granules of fractions of 0.5-1.5 mm. Blowing of metal with inert gas with mixture is performed by at least two jets oriented at angle of 60-80 deg. relative to longitudinal axis of ladle and directed towards ladle walls. Ends of these jets stop short of the bottom by 0.005- 0.015 of height of metal on ladle. EFFECT: possibility of obtaining required chemical composition due to smooth distribution of metal in metal; enhanced assimilation of alloying elements; enhanced modification; improved quality of steel. 1 tbl, 1 ex
