FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: procedure consists in melting metal in steel melting aggregate, in oxidation of impurities, in refining, in deoxidisation and in alloying, including alloying with nitrogen in form of nitrated ferrochromium with contents of nitrogen 8-12 %, density 4-6.5 g/cm and oxygen contents not more 0.5 %. Nitrated ferrochromium is introduced into a furnace 5-15 minutes before steel tapping at amount of 0.1-5 kg/t.
EFFECT: facilitating presence of specified concentration of nitrogen in steel at minimal consumption of nitrogen containing ferroalloys without adding aluminium and titanium into melt.
