FIELD: non-ferrous metallurgy, assembly of lining of aluminum electrolyzer. SUBSTANCE: proposed process includes lining of cathode shell with refractory and heat insulation materials, installation of carbonaceous blocks with steel current taps and filling of clearances between blocks with bottoms ramming mass. Carbonaceous blocks with steel current taps are intercemented with sidewalls into packages of 2-4 blocks prior to installation. EFFECT: increased quality of won aluminum, prolonged service life of electrolyzer. 1 dwg
